Valley Prosperity Partnership, A Strong Voice for the Red River Valley’s Legislative Business Interests

The Valley Prosperity (VPP) represents a wide swath of the region, led by business leaders driving change at the state legislative level that support region-critical issues like water security, university research and workforce development in both North Dakota and Minnesota.

ND LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION SESSIONS
In 2021, VPP hosted a handful of North Dakota legislative information sessions with legislators across the Valley.

Water Security
The VPP supported both the Red River Water Supply Project to provide supplemental water to Central North Dakota and the FM Diversion to provide flood protection for the region.

Research and Education
The VPP supported legislative funding for career education tech centers across North Dakota including NDSCS Career Innovation Center in Fargo and the career and tech education center in Grand Forks. The VPP also supported funding for research at NDSU, UND and the state’s other nine public universities.

Finance and Investment
The VPP supported ND’s LIFT  fund as well as the newly capitalized North Dakota Growth Fund both focused on the development and growth of emerging technology sectors.
